Once you have carried out that, it is possible to select Tools from the top menu and then choose Video Effects. You would start to see the preview in the rotation around the player window to your right.

Under Video Effects, you may rotate the playback quality according to your desired angle as shown within the screenshot.

If you don't fancy installing a relevant video converter program or utilizing Windows Movie Maker you are able to use Free Video Flip and Rotate which can be a fully functional freeware program which you can download from this point.

Free Video Flip and Rotate sports ths import of MP4 files.

After you've selected the desired rotation angle, all you should do is hit the convert button along with your flip video is going to be rotated.

!!! All Fired Up Movie

All Fired Up Movie! Here's a help guide show you the way to play SRT subtitle files when playing movies or videos in Windows Media Player.

Editor's Note: This article was originally published during 2009. This method might not exactly work for Windows 8 computers.

What are subtitles?

Subtitles or captions are textual versions in the dialogue being played out in movies and videos. They are either the exact same dialogue inside same language, or they may be translated versions from the dialogue in certain other language. You are most likely to work with subtitles if you don't understand the speech properly, as an example, if it is in a language you are studying or in an accent which is hard to understand. Subtitles will also be used by hearing impaired people.

How to learn subtitles?

Subtitles are generally available as .SRT or .SUB files you could download from one of the many subtitle websites on the web. You can just search for any subtitle with the name in the movie on Google, and you will probably likely find what you need within the first five results. Some from the popular subtitles sites where volunteer translators provide free subtitles are:

1. Open Subtitles Database -

2. My Subtitles -

3. DivX Subtitles -

4. Movie Subtitles -

To display subtitles when playing video, you can use video players like VLC or GOM. Windows Media Player doesn't support playing SRT subtitles by default, but as this article is about "How to experience a SRT file in Windows Media Player," we'll explain to you the easiest way:

Just install the DirectVobSub codec!

DirectVobSub can be a Directshow filter allowing you to display subtitles in Windows Media Player. It is also works with all Direct Show players. The latest version of Direct Vob Sub is 2.39. You can download it from this point - It is a 450 KB download. After getting, just do the installation.

Now when whenever you want to view any subtitles, copy the SRT file to the same folder as your video and rename it towards the same file because movie but with the SRT extension. If your movie file is ABC.avi, then you should have your subtitle file ABC.srt in the same folder. Now, open your video file in Windows Media Player. Go to Play ' Captions and Subtitles and select "On if Available." (It's perfectly safe to depart this option selected - WMP will appear for the subtitle file and use it only if it's present.)

Now whenever you play that video, you should see the subtitles at the bottom from the display window. The procedure is the identical for SUB subtitles also.
