The free books are in fact books kids might enjoy reading and will include Miss Daisy is Crazy! by Dan Gutman, Dear Mr. Henshaw by Beverly Cleary and Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown, and others.
Barnes and Noble Free Book
Barnes and Noble offers a free book program for kids this summer. Children who supply the titles of 8 books they've read may pick from a selection of 28 books targeted at audiences from preschool through grade 6. Among the free books on Barnes and Nobles' list are The Cricket in Times Square by George Selden, Mrs. Frisby and also the Rats of NIMH by Robert C. O'Brien, and My Last Best Friend by Julie Bowe.
